The Henrichshütte (ironworks) in Hattingen (Germany, on
the river Ruhr) was closed down in the mid-eighties. Until then
it was the biggest employer of the town. Nowadays the ruin is
reconstructed into a museum and leisure centre.
We thank all visitors who talked about their leisure-time activities.
They were recorded during the exhibition HöhlENkunst/ HüttENkunst
in september 2000.
Afterwords we combined them in contrast to
pictures of the ironworks.
A documentary experiment,
available in German only.
